Install Linux
So much has been written about installing Linux that I hesitate to throw
in my $0.02 worth. Get Running Linux, or download Linux
Instalation andGetting Started, both by Matt Welsh. Download Slackware,
Buy one of the fine CD-ROM distributions.
I have experience with Slackware, and am happy with it. I have heard good things about
all of the commercial CD-ROM distributions. I don't think it really matters
which you get, but as the shoe salesman says, "Just DO it!"
