Ben's Home Network
The home network is intended to provide a place for browsing, Free Cell,
and experimenting with, and testing, software packages and features I might
suggest to others.
It also serves to consume any spare cash I may have lying around.
This network consists of the following systems:
Draco
- The gateway machine, Intel 486, 16MB memory, Quantum 3.8GB IDE disk,
APC Smart-UPS 400, Hayes internal modem,
Linux 2.0.30, Slackware, IP Masquerade, Diald, DNS, Fetchmail
Castle
- Intel 486, 20MB memory, Fuji 1G, Quantum 540MB, and Connor 340MB disks,
SL Waber UPStart UPS,
sometimes Windows 3.1, sometimes Linux 2.0.30, Slackware distribution
Versailles
- Sparc IPX, 32MB memory, ancient 600MB disk,
sometimes Redhat 4.2 Sparc Linux, sometimes SunOS 4.1.4
Dungeon (Wishful thinking - dungeons have no windows).
- Intel P166, 32MB memory, Quantum 2G disk,
sometimes Windows95, sometimes Redhat 4.1 Linux
Internet Access

My ISP is Best Internet Communications
which hosts my domain name, web pages, ftp site, and a static IP address.
